JAN. 15, 2021

Hello Everyone,

I really don’t wish to dwell on the pandemic in this editorial. We all know what’s going on and that it’s going to be a while before we see light at the end of the tunnel.

What I do want is to continue bringing you a great escape from all that gloom and doom. In the past 10 months you’ve told me how much you enjoy Scribbles, more than any other time in our 41 plus years.

This isn’t to say I felt you didn’t already appreciate Scribbles, it’s just that right now we all seem to be seeing its true value. It makes us happy, it makes us laugh and best of all, it takes us away from the woes of the world. I’ve said it countless times before, but it’s worth repeating again...every time you say Scribbles brought you joy, that in turn brings the joy back to me. What a unique endless happiness circle we’re a part of.

The primary theme of this edition is to offer amusing ways to deal with isolation burnout, which understandably many are experiencing these days. We have a section of ideas to past the time, made all the more entertaining thanks to old photos of kids and pets hand picked from Scribbles vast archives. If laughter’s the best medicine, we have a double dose with a section of humourous comics and another with witty, albeit corny, word play. We top this part of our new edition off with You Need to Calm Down Contest.

Every year around this time we debut a new video highlighting what we all did at Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Thankfully this year is no exception. Scribbles Friends Holidays 2020 features photos and video blended with animated clips of you & I. The winner of our Find Frosty Contest is also included here.

Happy New Year my friends. Enjoy today's Scribbles.
