SCRIBBLES ENCORE VIDEO - 'Let Love Grow' - Megan & Andy's Wedding

It's hard to believe, but it was two years ago that our pals Megan & Andy were married. The wedding day was sooooooooo special. We all gathered at the rural home of Megan's mom Jeanne and her husband Peter (who performed the wedding ceremony) in my hometown Renfrew.

I went to the wedding with my sister Kim. We spent a few days at the Days Inn, which we would come to discover, was where other wedding guests also stayed.

It was so great to see my relatives and to celebrate such a magical event with them & my sister in such a cool location. Megan's mom Jeanne & husband Peter lived at a spacious home in the Ottawa Valley. There's actual forest areas around their place, it was ideal for the wedding. Tons of room for parking, the wedding ceremony area & a reception dinner under a big top tent.

Megan. What can I say? When you were young and you & your crazy mom & I all hung out together...those days are some of the most memorable of my life. Our Polly Pocket parades, the Backstreet Boys (AJ, Howie, Kevin, Nick, & Brian), all of it. So special. Happy anniversary to you & Andy. Thanks for proving fairy tales really can come true.

Here's the Scribbles Video 'Let Love Grow', the wedding day of Megan & Andy.

Scribbles Father of the Year 2021

Scribbles ENCORE VIDEO

This video gives you a double dose of Rich Hunt. All the photos featured in the video were taken by him and he also performs his original song "Be Awhile". Several years ago, Scribbles put the two together and this is the result.

Do everything you can in life with romance

"Romance isn't just a candle lit dinner with someone...it's the smells that trigger memories of warmth and love, it's the feeling of the sun on your face and the reminder of Mexican beaches and sun tan oil, it's the unexpected cuddle you get from a pet, a tear you refuse to own up to during a good movie. A hug from a stranger, a wink or a smile. A warm breeze on cool night under the stars. A wonder of amazement, an overload of the senses. The feeling of warm sand between your toes, floating in a hot tub in the winter while the snow falls straight down.

Live every moment with romance...doesn't matter if you share it with someone or keep it to yourself....but live it!"

~ Rich Hunt

EDITORIAL - Welcome Back!

Hello Everyone:

Well it’s been a while since I’ve been able to announce we have a big, beautiful group of exciting new posts for you to check out. There’s 15 new posts, but several of those posts actually feature multiple stories, so you could say there’s waaaaaaaay more than that.

The reason you’ve had to wait a while for a collection of new posts is well known by now. Throughout the month of May we featured Battle of the Best which took away from the time I’d usually devote to creating new posts.

I cannot emphasize enough how delighted I was that so many of you participated in our friendly “battles”. I had no idea it would be so popular and I am happy to offer a new series of battles for you this fall. If you can’t wait that long to be interactive with Scribbles again, we will be debuting Fill in the Blank sometime next week.

From Niagara Pride Week and Christian's scenic photography to a Super Sized helping of Joe Friday and an entire section of what you’ve been up to, you will surely find something to bring a smile to your face, in this edition.

Thanks for all your recent kind words about Scribbles, Battle of the Best and our recent Scribbles Videos. You are correct in thinking that putting all this together must have taken considerable time. It definitely did. But knowing how much you like what I do makes it worth every single re-do and all those late, late (oh sooooooo late) nights of preparation. Now, please accept this invitation to enjoy the new stuff. I’ll be over here taking a wee nap. Zzzzzzzz . LOL!
