QUIZ | How Well Do You Know These Product Logos?
I can't take credit for this video, I did not create it, I just discovered it on You Tube. A few of these logos are for products not found in Canada, but for the most part you should recognize these logos.

Niagara Pride Week Celebrates Our Resilience
Jun 12, 2024
Still doing chiropractor appointments and stretching exercises. Still use a cane to help me a bit, still hurts to stand in one spot and stairs are definitely still not my besties, but at least I can go up and down them on my feet instead of my ass (like I had to do the first week or so).
I hate that I missed out on Niagara Pride Week events and other events I was invited to, but such is life.
I was able to put in a tiny easy-to-manage garden, which makes me smile (and stuff is growing too!!) and Scribbles is back...which always makes me happy.
Today I am going to my mom's. First visit in a month. Usually go there every Sunday. Drove her car last night (also first time in a month).
So things are slowly returning to normal.
Thanks for your continued support, friendship and love for Scribbles & Mr. Sock. It all means a lot to me xoxo

BYE BYE!
Your ignorance truly isn’t worthy of a reply, it won’t make you apologize and is a waste of my valuable time.
I will simply block you, breathe a sigh of relief that I won’t see your immature words or GIF’s anymore and smile knowing you won’t sabotage my posts ever again.

Scribbles VIDEO | Mr. Sock's Garden Update
I had all the stuff to put together my garden when I wounded myself. I didn't want that stuff to go to waste, so I came up with a much smaller version. I had some help moving the big bags of soil, but anything that could be done while sitting I was fine with. So I got dirt under my fingernails and I planted seeds. I was behind on when I would plant things so I really wanted to get to it and now that is done, so this round it's Nasty Pain 0 and Content Ken 1.
Here's Mr. Sock's visit to our new little garden.

Things That Turn 45 in 2024
Sony Walkman. They were the Smartphone of '79 - early 80's and if you didn't own an authentic Walkman, well that just wasn't cool.
The Dukes of Hazzard. Them good ol' boys Bo & Luke, their sister Daisy and Uncle Jesse spun their wheels and dusted up a storm in their car the 'General Lee', when they hit the airwaves on CBS in January 1979.
Happy Meal. Hard to believe McDonald's "kiddie meal" has been around for over four decades. Today, the Happy Meal offers some healthier options, but a hamburger and fries is still the main attraction.
The Muppet Movie. Wow...Kermit and his felt companions look pretty darn good for 45. With its inspiring message and rainbow connection, The Muppet Movie withstands the passage of time and is as incredible today as it was when Kermie, Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo & pals bicycled their way into theatres in 1979.
Mandarin Restaurant. The popular all-you-can-eat Chinese food chain opened its first restaurant in Brampton, 45 years ago.
The Facts of Life. This NBC hit was a spinoff from the series Diff'rent Strokes. It starred Charlotte Rae, who reprised her role of housekeeper Mrs. Garrett. Featuring a cast of young up-and-coming actors, The Facts of Life was one of the longest running sitcom series of the 80's.
Dustbuster. These handy, dandy portable vacuums have been sucking for four decades.
Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. Attempting to cash in on the popularity of Star Trek & Star Wars, this NBC series received lackluster ratings when it first aired. Although it had only 2 seasons, the series went on to become a syndicated cult favourite.
Ringpop. Is it a ring? Is it a candy? Well actually it's both and we've been slipping them on our fingers and licking them for 45 years.
Knot's Landing. Set in a California cul-de-sac, Knot's Landing was a spinoff of the blockbuster prime time soap Dallas.
This Old House. Setting the tone for a multitude of similar themed series, This Old House followed participants as they repaired and renovated their homes.
Honey Nut Cheerios. Popular cereal Cheerios first hit store shelves in the US in 1941. In 1979 General Mills debuted Honey Nut Cheerios, a new flavour of the breakfast staple.
The Littlest Hobo. Canadian series The Littlest Hobo featured an owner-less German Shepard who wandered from town to town helping people in need. The tail wagging hit was actually a remake of the 1963 series and lasted for 6 seasons. It now airs in syndication around the world.
