Scribbles REVIEW | DCT's Original Production 'Next' Has All the Feels

It's always enjoyable for me to take something you did and turn it into a post for Scribbles.co or my Facebook page. But it's extra special to see my words featured in OTHER places.
Take this one for example...As I have enthusiastically and repeatedly mentioned, on June 15 my sister Kim and I went to Dunnville to watch the DCT production 'Next'. I wrote a review with lots of pix for Scribbles.co.
I was happy to oblige and delighted to see my comments featured in the paper's review.
I can't include a link to the review because Facebook blocks Canadian's from sharing news stories. If you Google Haldimand Press and go to their website, you can find the full story.
But if you just want to hear what I wrote... here it is:
From The Haldimand Press, Valerie Posthumus' review of 'Next' featured in the paper's June 20th edition.
"On June 14, 2024 the Dunnville Community Theatre opened their hilariously funny and moving production of their “home grown play” entitled ‘Next’.
... Ken Leavoy attended the production and had this to say after the show: “My, my, my Delilah, a delicious meal, a touching storyline with nods to local hotspots, and a stellar cast. DCT’s homegrown production ‘Next’ checks all the boxes. A must see for theatre fans.”

Still doing chiropractor appointments and stretching exercises. Still use a cane to help me a bit, still hurts to stand in one spot and stairs are definitely still not my besties, but at least I can go up and down them on my feet instead of my ass (like I had to do the first week or so).
I hate that I missed out on Niagara Pride Week events and other events I was invited to, but such is life.
I was able to put in a tiny easy-to-manage garden, which makes me smile (and stuff is growing too!!) and Scribbles is back...which always makes me happy.
Today I am going to my mom's. First visit in a month. Usually go there every Sunday. Drove her car last night (also first time in a month).
So things are slowly returning to normal.
Thanks for your continued support, friendship and love for Scribbles & Mr. Sock. It all means a lot to me xoxo

Scribbles VIDEO | Mr. Sock's Garden Update
I had all the stuff to put together my garden when I wounded myself. I didn't want that stuff to go to waste, so I came up with a much smaller version. I had some help moving the big bags of soil, but anything that could be done while sitting I was fine with. So I got dirt under my fingernails and I planted seeds. I was behind on when I would plant things so I really wanted to get to it and now that is done, so this round it's Nasty Pain 0 and Content Ken 1.
