  Meditate. Rest. Read. Repeat.

That’s what we’ve been doing a lot of this week.
We will resume creating new stuff for Scribbles soon.

But until then…..”Ommmm”

Just Like Mom

Time is Fleeting

Bob Saget was a nice guy who over the years made a lot of people laugh. Although I wasn’t a major fan, I wept when I discovered he died. I cried because his sudden death reminded me that we just never know when our time is up.

Bob Saget performed a show Saturday night in Florida. A short time later, back at his hotel, he wrote on Instagram how much he was enjoying his new tour and how he felt like he was 26 again. He sent a message to his daughter telling her he loved her…and then a bit later… he died. WTF?

I will try to take from Bob Saget’s shocking, sudden passing a reminder to make the best of every day. To be kind and caring towards others. To appreciate the simple things and try not to sweat the small stuff. To tell those I care about that I love them.
Which brings us to the point of this message. I truly appreciate each and every one of you. You always say such kind things when I post something new on Scribbles or create a new Scribbles Video. You have no idea just how much that means to me.
I have a gift - that’s not me being conceited, it’s a simple acknowledgment that something I create brings joy and happiness to my extended family & amazing friends and it’s very unique. You are special to me and it gives me such pleasure to spotlight your achievements. I love you very much and wish you nothing but the best.

Rest In Peace Bob Saget, your passing has been a real eye opener.

NEW VIDEO! Scribbles Holidays Recap + Find Frosty Winner Revealed

I
DANA QUINN SLAUNWHITE & RICH HUNT
t's that time of year again....time to check out what you and your fellow Scribbles pals were up to during the holidays.

Similar to last year, we enjoyed the season in much smaller groups, and large New Year's Eve festivities were once again a big no-no.

Be that as it may, pandemic restrictions didn't stop us from having fun. We've got all your adventures in  over 250 photos and short video clips. featuring you, your family, friends and of course tons of pets

The music for this year's video is very special because we feature two amazing Scribbles friends Dana Quinn Slaunwhite and Rich Hunt, who sing and play guitar in two musical performances we're sure you will love.

Dana was featured on last March's video Scribbles Really BIG Show, where, much to our delight, he sang three songs. This time around he's channeling his inner Burl Ives as he sings 'A Memory of An Old Christmas Card'. We featured this video on Scribbles after Dana recorded it in 2013 and I was glad that he was okay with us using it again.

Dana is followed by our East Coast pal Rich's original song 'Holloway Bay'. Rich posted the video on his Facebook page and the minute we heard it we knew we just had to feature it on our video.

Although Rich performs beside a large Christmas tree and festive room decor, 'Holloway Bay' is not an actual Christmas song. We're okay with that and believe that after you hear it, you will be too.

Rich, I much appreciate your permission to let me include your song. It's now my earworm but really I've got no problem with that, it's a great tune my friend (and once coworker).

Our Holidays Recap is followed by our 40th Annual (WTF...40?) Find Frosty Contest. We will reveal where Frosty was hiding and then get my mom Joan to help select the winner (and when you see the results, you'll know why I always prefer having someone else select our contest winners.)

This video is shot in high definition and looks fantastic when viewed on smartphones, tablets and on big screen TV's.

So grab your favourite beverage, get comfy and spend the next 9 minutes and 22 seconds with your Scribbles friends.
