What makes
Scribbles unique is that I know pretty much all of the people I send this stuff to. I don't accept random friend requests for my Facebook page, you are either a friend I know somehow, like through places I've worked, people I went to school with, relatives, friends in the LGBTQ+ community and people I've dated (which in my younger days was a group that boosted Scribbles circulation by impressive numbers, LOL) or you could be a friend of a friend who have discovered Scribbles silliness.
I also have an email list of friends who aren't into social media and get their Scribbles updates in their inboxes.
There are many friends whom I hear from regularly and those who give a "Like" or "Love" to a new post within mere minutes of it having been posted. Believe me, I appreciate each and every one of those blue thumbs up or red hearts, just like I appreciate when you tell me how much you liked a particular post or zany video.
Every now and then a message comes my way that really takes me back. Below is one such message. I was touched deeply by what was written. When I've joked how laughter is the best medicine which is what Scribbles is all about, I had no idea just how spot on I was. Here's the message a special Scribbles friend recently sent me...
“Very little is needed to make a happy life;
it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.”
- Marcus Aurelius Antoninus
