It is hard to believe that it was 6 years ago on Feb. 28th, that Ricky Holditch passed away. He was 26.I knew Ricky indirectly. One of his best buddies was Andrew MacNeil. I have been friends with Andrew's dad Doug since we were in high school. Ricky lived at the MacNeil's home for a while, so I got to know him when I would visit.
He was a handsome, genuine young man, who had the ability to light up a room, You didn't have to know him well, to know he was a great guy, and very loyal to his family and friends.
In the weeks leading up to his passing, Ricky did some interviews that appeared in the local papers. What a brave soul. Who had a message, telling us "Make use of the time you do have". Something Ricky did so very well.
