WRITTEN BY MICHELLE ALLENBURG The Welland Canal bridge 13 was lit up with the colours of the French flag on Saturday night to show solidarity with France after deadly attacks occurred across Paris on Friday night.
Welland Mayor Frank Campion said Welland would light up the bridge because of concern over the people affected.
"That sort of thing should never happen," he said.
Campion said during Tuesday night`s council meeting council members will discuss what happened in Paris.
