We didn't need to worry about the rain, thanks to our next door neighbours Doug, Dawn and Chris, who put up an awning in the driveway for us to stay dry under (complete with a heater, Halloween lights & spooky decorations....you could tell they had done this more than a few times before.)
Kids who stopped by scored three times the stash because there were three families giving out trick or treat goodies all under the one roof!
Although I was fighting off a sinus cold and Deanna had allergies, we still managed to stay out long enough to enjoy the kids and their costumes. Nothing was going to dampen anyone's spirits on this popular night.
