It's a Gold for Winger at World Hockey Championships

Our Niagara scribbles pal Mike Wing got up-close-and-personal with hockey's original "great one", Bobby Orr at the Buffalo World Junior Hockey Tournament. When proud Mikey posted the awesome photo one of his facebook friends asked who that was beside him. Google Bobby Orr and get back to us.

You look very happy here Winger.  So many of the photos I copy from your facebook page are of you and some celebrity. Rock stars, Sports stars, you mingle with the best of them and I consider you our official unofficial scribbles star trekker, so please keep those awesome photos coming.

It's a Small World After All

Diane and BJ Murray enjoyed a week at Disney and Univeral Studios in Florida this December and from the smiles on their faces and photos on facebook, the Vineland couple were just big kids having the time of their lives.

Be sure to click on the pix above to see a larger version of the happy couple hanging from "Jaws" mouth..LOL, ya, that's my kind of funny. Glad you had a great time!!

Up Up and Away

On their recent trip to Key West, our TO pals Jeff Stewart and his life partner Frankie got to take flight, swim with dolphins and evidentally have the time of their lives.

Jeff your photos really captured the moments -I admit,  I DO have a favourite, yep, it's your reaction when you and Frankie are about to set sail. That's a great one, I think I'll induct it into our new LOL Club.

I'm so happy for you my friend. From when we first met to where we both find ourselves today and then we have those crazy men in our lives that we're hopelessly devoted to...warts and all. Who would have thunk it?  LOL.

Here are some exciting photos taken when Marlene and Ron Jansen visited Asia

What a great view Marlene

Katie Loves her new Four-wheeled friend "Betty"

Katie Lacey took a few extra days off over the holidays to get better acquainted with her sporty new white car which she calls "Betty" (appropriately enough, since her last car was dubed "Barney")

In their initial weeks the "girls" have become BFF's, now let's just hope there's no little Bamm Bamm's down the road!  Enjoy your car Katie!

Where in the World is Little Tyson Lee?

We've looked all around St Catharines and we just can't find Tyson Lee anywhere. Could the rumour be true? Did he really move to BC to attend the Art Institute of Vancouver and make his mom, auntie and himself Skype's number one fans. LOL! True that! Tyson moved to BC after Christmas but his mom Becky's case of "Empty Nest Syndrome" hit well before he had left Ontario. To ease the transition, Tyson's Aunt Susan (aka "Mary") joined our young 20 something in BC to find a place for him to live, etc. This way Mama Bird back in St Catharines could sleep a bit easier, well, maybe for one night at least.

Sandra Makes Magic at her Mother's Bedside

Sandra Burger spent much of the holiday season at her mother Linda's bedside at the Welland Hospital. "Aunt Linda" as she is know to the rest of us (even if she isn't officially our Aunt) had some big health scares recently and has been in hospital for some time now. Things have improved over time. The tube is out and she can talk, she has lost some weight and her spirits are good. And as for daughter Sandra, who has been by her mom's side the entire time...well she's perfected the magical act of making her mother float.

OK, so here's the scoop behind this Invasion of the Terri-Robes. While shopping I saw them a month or so before Christmas and it kept coming up as a great choice for so many on my list -myself included, of course. So up I went to the checkout counter with six soft fluffy white bathrobes and six less people on my gift list!

Our bathrobe beauties above are Don and Kim Papple, Jane Storie and her partner Ken Clark. Rob and I show off our robes in the top left corner of our robe collection.

Christmas Eve 2010 @ Marsha Scott's

On Boxing Day, Rob helped his Patti sister prepare a holiday feast at her home in Welland . Rob set up a lovely table and there was even enough salad for baby Alina to have a bowl, even though she was still in her mommy Heather's belly at the time. LOL -It was a mighty fine salad!

New Kid on the Block Making Her Rounds

Thanks to facebook and iphone, I've seen lots of photos of Rob's niece Alina Skye Dennis getting to meet her relatives and friends. There's one glaring exception, yours truly. She's met Uncle Rob but has yet to meet Aunt Kenny...LOL! (It's OK Rodney, Auntie still loves you and I will meet your new daughter soon)

Heather and Rodney Dennis and 4 year old son Kade welcomed their beautiful daughter Alina at 8am Wed. Jan.5th. She weighed 7 lbs 8 oz. and was born at home with the assistance of a midwife in the family's Welland home. Proud papa Rodney said on facebook "She is so perfect I am definitely in for trouble when she gets older...lol". [ Now you will see things from a whole new perspective eh Rodney? ]

From Aunt Linda to her parents, niece, nephew, grandma, brother, little Alina looks even cutier if you click pix to view large version
