VIDEO | Queen's Live Aid Performance: Actual vs. Movie Recreation

Here's a clever video. Juan Dela Cruz has taken the footage of Queen's 1985 performance on Live Aid and does a side-by-side comparison between it and the recreated footage from the 2018 blockbuster movie Bohemian Rhapsody.

The producers of Bohemian Rhapsody wanted to be as true to the real thing as possible. They recreated the stage from Wembley Stadium's Live Aid concert and paid close attention to every detail from Freddie's gestures to the Pepsi cups that sit upon the piano. Computer generated imagery filled the "stadium" with concert goers.

Although the concert scene comes at the very end of the movie, it was actually the first thing they filmed for the award-winning biopic.

Enjoy!
