A New Year with Scribbles
Happy New Year Everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday season and didn't pack on too many extra pounds in the process (look out Special K and grapefruits, we're ba-a-a-a-ck...LOL)
As promised, I am pleased to launch some new and revised features along with two very special video clips.
Let's start with those new and revised features. Last Fall we gave you our countdown of the top sixty six perfect pix in Scribbles library. The response to that feature was so overwelming that we have decided to revamp the concept and make it a part of our line-up. Scribbles FAB PHOTOS will appear regularly and bring you both new and very old photos. The common thread will be that each photo will (hopefully) evoke an emotional response. Maybe it will make you laugh, perhaps you'll be amazed. Others may bring you back to days gone by. Whatever the feeling, we hope you'll agree each are worthy of being dubbed a FAB PHOTO.
Our GALLERY feature will continue to bring you reader's artwork, photography and poems. We encourage you to share your talents with your fellow Scribbles fans by emailing submissions to us.
Scribbles REWIND will debut in the next few weeks. As the name implies, it will feature content from old Scribbles Magazines. Some of you may have never seen these before and we're excited to introduce a whole new group of you to some of what first made Scribbles so unique. Watch for this to begin soon.
Last but most certainly NOT least, there are two new video clips for your viewing pleasure. "2012 Memoriam" is a bittersweet look at those we said goodbye to last year. Unlike similar tributes you may have seen on TV or online in recent weeks, our memoriam includes celebrities, family and friends (even our four-legged ones.)
"The World According to Scribbles" takes us in a whole different direction, with its peppy music and fast-paced look at some of what makes Scribbles special.
We have another video planned for the weeks ahead. It will feature a look at our recent Christmas and New Year's celebrations. You know me, always thinking of what's next....LOL!
Thanks for your continued support and praise for Scribbles. Here's hoping that this year -which ends in the often unlucky number 13- is a bright, happy and prosperous one for us all.
Your Forever Friend,
Kenny
