We just fell in love with this brilliant photo, when Francesca Mackie posted it on her facebook page. Responding to our request to repost, Francesca included a great description of the pix.
Francesca wrote:
"Hey Kenny, yes for sure you can use the picture. This is Colin and Catriona in Scotland this summer, (August) just after we had finished a fabulous day's trip to Rothesay on the Isle of Bute.
We traveled via the paddle steamer 'Waverley' on the River Clyde estuary, west of Glasgow. They are sitting by the waterside in Helensburgh, a town on the Clyde, looking out over the water to Greenock, where [ my husband] Brian's dad grew up during the war.
There was a spectacular sunset that night, as you can see, the entire valley was lit up for some amazing pictures."
