Miss Falynn Meets "Miss Independent" (...Well, Sorta)
Our pal Falynn Shaw found an extraordinary to celebrate her birthday this year. Forget colourful balloons and festive party hats, Falynn spent her birthday enjoying her idol Kelly Clarkson in concert at Fallsviews Casino in Niagara Falls.
And Falynn came very close to doing just that. She entered two video clips for a Meet Kelly Clarkson contest sponsored by local radio station EZ Rock 105.7. Her clips were amazing and we thought for sure she had this one in the bag. Unfortuantely a last minute entry by two girls attempting to sing, using hairbrushes as their microphones, stole the judges hearts, making them the winners of the contest : (
Unfazed, Falynn enjoyed Ms. Clarkson's concert anyhow. Falynn told friends "OMG what an amazing show!! Thank you so much [to my friend] Ali for taking me to see my favorite singer! Best birthday weekend ever!"
Glad to hear you had a great time Falynn. You may not have met Kelly in person, but in the wild and wacky world of Scribbles, anything's possible -as you see above.
