Two years. Yes it's been two years since Ricky Holditch was called away from us.
It was little wonder why he was loved by so many and understandable that his death effected each of them so personally.
In his final months with us, Ricky continued to shine, sharing his story with the local media. A reminder to everyone, even those he had never met, that we should always make the best of each moment.
On February 28, 2011, at the age of 26, Ricky Holditch's battle with cancer came to an end and although he no longer walks amongst us, in some ways it seems as though he is still here.
There was indeed something special about Ricky, something even death itself cannot take from us. A precious gift which he left with each of us. For today, tomorrow and eternity.
