They're there when I am happy,
They're there when I am sad,
They sense when my pains and woes
Have made me very mad.
They don't care if I look a fright,
And of that I'm very glad.
My hair's a mess, I need a bath,
But to them I don't look bad.
There are some who don't appreciate
The bond between animal and lad.
The bond between animal and lad.
I don't quite understand those folks,
And it makes me kinda sad.
For they are missing unconditional love,
That's surely not a fad.
Cuz my pets are undoubtedly,
The best friends I've ever had.
