Easter...County Style

The cute kids above are related and elated as they enjoy their Easter egg hunt on the McParland family's farm in Renfrew, ON.

The farm once belonged to our pals the Farquharson's and has lots of great places for the Easter bunny to hide his colourful eggs.

After the big hunt, the children and their families (all 40 or so of them) enjoyed Easter dinner in the newly renovated McParland home.  We assume rabbit was not on the menu. OH MY!

Really Egg-citing

My family and I gathered at my sister Kim and her husband Don's home on Easter Sunday where we did more than just eat.

Prior to a delicious roast beef dinner, cake and chocolates, we all had a chance to decorate egg shaped sugar cookies. A bit messy but tons of fun, the colourful creations were a blast to put together (although some of us couldn't wait until they were decorated to eat their cookie.....isn't that right Patrick?  LOL)

Still Good a Day Later

Although my nephew Graham was feeling under the weather and unable to join the rest of the family for Easter dinner, his Aunt Kim did make sure his mommy Jane brought home all the decorations required for him to create his own Easter egg cookie.

As we see above, it tastes as good as it looks!

Divine Little Diva

Kayla Whiteley takes a break from Easter egg hunting to strike a diva pose, while brother Christopher acts as court jester, in this photo found on mom Angela's facebook page.

 "What's Up Doc?"

Tammie Holditch and Lee Ruberg posted this photo of their son on facebook.

Tammie said "Aietch's gift from the Easter Bunny! He was so confused as to what to do with it lol".

That's so cute! I'm betting he will catch on as to what Easter is all about as the years go by, but the first one is so special, eh?

Chocolate's Sweet But Cash is King

Thanks to Rob, this year the Easter Bunny gave me a yummy chocolate Homer Simpson. But the bunny ran out of goodies for Rob and instead gave him a personalized stand-up card and $10...LOL!
